Deja Vu

Last year on this very day - Day 4 of Sports Camp, we had numerous "Overtime Thrillers". Today was almost a replay! There was an overtime game in every session today.

The morning session brought a 6-5 OT win for Notre Dame in soccer. They matched up well against Ohio State. It was a heart breaker for the Buckeyes.

Today was such a beautiful day. It doesn't get much better than partly sunny and 80 degrees with a light breeze. I almost feel as though it added to the upbeat tempo of camp today. Everyone seemed full of pep and cheerfulness!

Individual instruction followed the morning games. Today the campers took part in Speed Training, Volleyball, Golf, Wrestling, just to name a few!

There were two very excited overtime games in the afternoon session. UNC and Texas AM met up on the soccer field. A&M managed to pull off the win. Go Aggies!

Inside at the handball court, LSU and Duke faced off for the most amazing triple overtime game to date. Through two overtimes these teams were tied at 9. LSU finally scored to win 10-9.

During tonight's games Wake Forest and Texas played through three overtimes until Wake scored the winning goal. It was almost dark by the time they were finished.

Today was almost perfect. It's hard to beat a day like today, but tomorrow we have so much to look forward to. It's FRIDAY! Our first campfire night of the 46th Annual Sports Camp. Can't wait!
